How Do I Order Custom Work?

Navigate to the contact form here. The form is always up to date on whether I’m taking orders or not. If I am able accept your commission in your time frame needed, you will be provided the address to send your item(s) to. You’ll need to have your garment ready to ship to me to enter the “queue”. I stitch in order of item received, unless there is a due date change or some sort of other emergency! I have these guidelines in place to ensure that you receive your item in time for your due date or event.

Please note- inquiring does not reserve a spot. If I’m able to accept your inquiry and you do not send me the clothing in the mentioned time frame, this does not reserve your spot. Thank you for understanding!

Do You Also Sell the Clothing?

I do not sell clothing, I just embellish them! All you have to do is send me your clothing, old or new, and I will embroider the desired designs on it and send it right back to you upon approval.

Can I Use Your Designs?

Everything you see on my Instagram is original art that I created. I do not approve plagiarism, selling or distributing of any of my original designs by other embroidery artists without permission or proper credit (tagging me on your social media and/or website). Thank you for respecting my hard work and small business. You may purchase a few of my available templates here . If you’re not a business who is just wanting to embroider something for your own child & have been inspired by anything you see on my page, then I’m honored & you are welcome to create your own! If you do post it online, be sure to give credit to @brittinghamstitchingco & I’d love to share your work!

How Does The Design Process Work?

I will work with you in detail until you are satisfied with my proposed design. You may just want something you’ve already seen on my page, which I am happy to recreate for you! For birthday parties, we can even work from your custom invitation to have a matching design (just be sure to include the artist so I can credit their art). I love to incorporate special touches such as your child’s age or birthdates as well!

Do You Have a Price List?

I do not have a set price sheet available as each item is custom designed and then embroidered by hand. Pricing depends on the difficulty of design choices, garment style, fabric, location of the embroidery, and time taken to stitch the design in full. Upon inquiring, a general ballpark estimation of what you’re requesting can be given so that you have a fair idea of what to expect. Edits or design change requests after I’ve begun may result in an additional amount.

What is the Turnaround Time?

Unless you reserve a spot months in advance, an approximate turn around time is around 3-4 weeks A rush order can be made if there is a due date change or other emergency!

When is Payment Due?

I do not require payment until I have finished your item and you’ve approved via photos. Payment will be due before I ship it back to you.

A Note On Limited Availability

It is just me hand embroidering each & every item. I love what I do, but my priority is my children, and as many of you know, life with young children is busy & unpredictable! I know one day, when they are older, I’ll have much more time to embroider, but I am soaking these short years in while I can and I thank you for understanding my limited availability!

I do technically have a small staff- a cute staff of toddler models and my husband, who is always willing to run to the post office for me!
